I guess you can call this a follow up on Corona vs God blog from last week.

The Lord had me up for several hours last Saturday night/Sunday morning. I just could not sleep. I laid in bed praying for awhile and the Lord dropped a song in my mind…Juke Box Hero…ummmm…ok… At this point in my life I just go with it. I sang what few lyrics I remembered of the song which wasn’t many and I couldn’t even remember who sang it. It didn’t make any sense to me and I didn’t feel released to sleep so I got up and went to my office which is where have my QT’s (quiet time) in the mornings or in a lot of other times…in the middle of the night.

With all of the panic and fear in the world I read Psalm 23

The Lord Is My Shepherd

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2     He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3     He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
    for his name's sake.

well obviously it got my attention so I reread the chapter and what caught my attention is it’s all about worship. He then takes me to Psalm 93 titled ‘ The Lord Reigns’ 1-2

93 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty;
    the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt.
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
2 Your throne is established from of old;
    you are from everlasting.

I know He was reassuring me because I have some concerns as I’m sure we all do, and also for me to share with you. He has established this world and it will not be moved. He is on His throne! He always has been and He always will be. Plain and simple.

He also had me in several other chapters in Psalm but I will save that for another day.

Ok so, I have a couple of ladies in my life who like to stay in the background doing God’s work. I call one of them The Digger.. so I asked her to dig for some info for me…She gave me a lot so I decided to looked it up myself and this is what I found…

Corona….The word “corona” is Latin for a crown. The series of crown-like spikes on the surface of the virus is the reason why it was given this name. Aside from the COVID-19, which is a new strain of coronavirus and is the cause of today’s global pandemic, there are also other types of coronaviruses.

Believe me when I say The Digger gave me way more info but I’m gonna keep it real simple here.

My Pastor also spoke on this Sunday. So if the Lord is talking to me about this I know He’s talking to others…..Lots of others! Pay attention people I guarantee The Lord is talking to you too!

Do you see it?? It’s presenting itself as a crown with spikes. What the heck?? Can we all say Crown of Thorns? It’s trying to take over to be king of this world! This has to stop. It’s creating its kingdom, putting itself on a throne. The more we talk about it, the more we buy into the fear and panic the more power we are giving it! Call me crazy buy we don’t say the c word any more in our household.

Anyway, The Lord had me up praying and through His word he told me the strategy to get through this.. WORSHIP! that’s the key…worship! Put Jesus back on his throne where He belongs and worship who He is. Plain and simple.

Psalm 22:28

28 For kingship belongs to the Lord,
    and he rules over the nations.

I know people are in many difficult situations..finances..health..provision..and on and on. But God… yes that’s it. But GOD!!! He is still on his throne. He is still King. That is never gonna change…Never! This is a season of trust for many for sure. When you come out the other side you will be better for it.. I’ve been there.. I know. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. You will be an approved vessel ready for service.

2 Timothy 2:15
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,[a] a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

He’s preparing us for the next…the more!! Praise God hallelujah and amen!!

Anyway, As I get ready to go back to bed The Lord says “what about Juke Box Hero” really Lord?? Ok , so I google.. FYI…Foreigner sings it…:)

WOW WOW WOW I have No idea why The Lord gave me this song other than Heard the roar of the crowd, he could picture the scene
Put his ear to the wall, then like a distant scream.… To me I believe it’s confirmation to Find your ROAR in worship… Know who God is…Know who you are in God!

Never ever stop worshipping. We must worship no matter what we see or how we feel or our circumstance or situations that we are in. Worship is powerful! It’s the key for such a time as this.

So, what is worship? Glad ya asked… reading the word of God back to him. Decreeing and Declaring scriptures is a great way to worship. Singing and Dancing before God. Worship music obviously… whatever comes from your heart to God is good! So open wide and get to it. It’s simply telling and reminding PaPa God who he is and in doing that peace, comfort and the love of the Father enters your room and envelops you which brings even more worship. Your heart can’t help but worship when you are in His holy presence. Try it.. you will be comforted and at peace because it focuses on God and not on the situation or circumstance that are trying to get you off focus of what’s important… Who God is and whom you are in Him Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is still on His throne in control so worship Him and just watch what He does!

It’s time to ROAR people like never before. God hears you I know this for a fact.. He told me he’s listening … I’ll share that word in a few days…

Jesus is the Lion of Judah… and He is on his throne

Revelation 5:5

The word of God tells us the devil prowls around like a roaring lion

So it’s time to ROAR like the Lion of Judah instead of like the devil. Let’s stop giving voice to fear and panic and worship the one true king!

2. Worship is the key
3. Find your ROAR!!!
