OK, So a few weeks ago I was walking down our game room hallway. We have a sensor connected to the light at the end which happens to be an exit light. It detects you and the light comes on but it doesn’t seem to “detect” me till I get to the very end of the hall but without fail it does come on. Our hallway is dark, very dark. I ALWAYS think I’m gonna run into the door but I NEVER do. Well, this time I’m walkin and as I always do I get to the end I start to lift my hand to feel for the door so I don’t run into it, which I never have, but I always think I’m going to, this time I heard the Lord say” Rachell sometimes you have to walk in the dark trusting the light will come on. I am the Light!”.

     JOHN 8:12 "I am the light of the world...WOW.    

So I put my hand down and take one more step and the light comes on!

God is good! YA see, we have been dealin with a lot of   “What is goin on?”  “Why is this happening to us?”  “What are you doin God?”  Ya know, things we don’t understand. Even though I believe we are on the “tail end” of this season and walkin into the next this was a word not only for me but I believe for others also. Whatever you may be “going through” don’t treat your present situation lightly ( no pun intended) it could very well be a training ground for your next season. Welcome it. Walk through it !!

So,what does this mean? Sometimes God asks us to take steps when we don’t see the way.  All we can do is trust God, keep walkin even if we don’t understand the “whys” and even if we feel like we are walkin alone in the dark. We are never alone!!   

  ISAIAH 42:16 I will led the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

God sees all and knows all so trust him and take another step!!     You could very well be a step away from darkness to light!!   

 PSALM 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path. 

My prayer for you:       Heavenly Father I pray your people turn to you in their “trying” times and are strengthened with your word. I pray your presence be with them and they know they are not alone. You already have the outcome in your hands. I pray they remain faithful to you and when they are on the other side they turn back full of praise and  say” God brought me through it and I am a much better person for it”!! I pray love abounds in their households and they carry your presence with them where ever they go and they become light in this world of ours. In the name of Jesus I ask amen…..
