“Merciful Master”

Feb 4th 2024..During sunday night prayer at church.

I heard “Merciful Master”. The Lord directed me to Matthew 18:21-35

Matthew 18:21-35
Christian Standard Bible
The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

21 Then Peter approached him and asked, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

22 “I tell you, not as many as seven,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven.[a]

23 “For this reason, the kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 When he began to settle accounts, one who owed ten thousand talents[b] was brought before him. 25 Since he did not have the money to pay it back, his master commanded that he, his wife, his children, and everything he had be sold to pay the debt.

26 “At this, the servant fell facedown before him and said, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you everything.’ 27 Then the master of that servant had compassion, released him, and forgave him the loan.

28 “That servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii.[c] He grabbed him, started choking him, and said, ‘Pay what you owe!’

29 “At this, his fellow servant fell down[d] and began begging him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’ 30 But he wasn’t willing. Instead, he went and threw him into prison until he could pay what was owed. 31 When the other servants saw what had taken place, they were deeply distressed and went and reported to their master everything that had happened. 32 Then, after he had summoned him, his master said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’ 34 And because he was angry, his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured until he could pay everything that was owed. 35 So also my heavenly Father will do to you unless every one of you forgives his brother or sister[e] from your heart.”

Ok, so obviously this is about forgiveness
and mercy…. He approached this scripture from a different viewpoint…from
the master. Not the servant… Can He do that if He wants to??…Of course He
can He’s God!!! Three days later I heard…. “There is an identity
crisis” …during morning prayer at church…

The Lord proceeds to tell me…. “I’m talking
about my kids, the ones who say they belong to me but have no idea who I am.
Therefore, they have no idea who they are. It’s time to KNOW who I am and who I
have created them to BE!

They have misappropriated the alphabet.

You see with natural eyes the world is
in identity crisis I am YOUR mirror! My children come to me and gaze upon my
beauty of who I am. come to me all who are weary and burdened, I WILL give you
rest.  I am everything you need everything you desire! I am FREEDOM ! I
have overcome the world and have given the right to become my children.”

God is offering us a very real time of forgiveness
if we repent and seek him. This is an opportunity from God to you. A personal
invitation. He is our mirror… NOT the world…The world will tell you…”it’s
ok to…BLAH BLAH BLAH… if it doesn’t line up with God’s word…Then guess
who’s wrong? YOU…Not Him!! Take a good long look in his mirror and ask
yourself…” do my beliefs line up with His word? Am what I’m doing, how
I’m living line up with His word?”

He mentioned the alphabet community, this is definitely
for them as much as it for you and me.

misappropriate

(of a person) dishonestly or unfairly take
something for one’s own use.

The world has taken their identify. God is
restoring identity to those who seek Him.

Questions
to ponder…

Am I the merciful master extending forgiveness
and mercy? Is there someone whom I’m withholding forgiveness or mercy?

Am I the wicked servant…expecting forgiveness
but not extending it? Do I expect more than I give?

I can’t answer these questions for you. I can
get with God our Merciful Master and ask him. I can gaze into his word, our
mirror, and see what is reflecting.is it me or am I reflecting God?

God is telling us He is the “Merciful
Master”. If he wasn’t He wouldn’t be telling this to me. He has his hands
outstretched to us. Will we go to him expecting and receiving forgiveness and
mercy or will we not?? this is a special open window of time He is offering an
invitation to come…seek…repent and receive His forgiveness and mercy. Then,
we are to forgive and extend mercy to those around us. Yes, He is always
offering this to us, for whatever reason He is highlighting this to us in this
season…this time frame. There is something special at this time…Let’s see
what happens when we accept his invitation!! Could it be lives will quickly
change, could it be relationships restored, could it be situations change, could it
bring healing?? Only God knows and He is asking us to receive His invit!

We are at a tipping point… to choose God or not. It’s decision time people!
